Haul: November 2013

It's time for haul post YAY!! Last November I got quite a number of stuff because I had the "It's My Birthday" excuse!! He he he I usually only put my beauty haul but I'm gonna start to post my fashion haul too.  This month I got a massive addition to my skull addiction so you're gonna see a lot of skull thingy down there.

Crochet Circles Idea

I simple crochet circle can be turn into some cute accessories. You can make them in any way you like...

Here some ideas...

You can make it into earrings!! One color or multicolor both will look good. A small or a big one is cute too!! It's a great way to make use of leftover yarn.

Crochet Hellebore Brooch

Here's another cute flower that you can make into a pin, earring, or any other things you want. This helleborw flower pattern is taken from Crochet Accessories book by Ratu Sri Hastutie, the pattern in her book is in bahasa and she use UK style pattern. I modified her pattern into US style pattern.

Crochet Cammomile Brooch

Still got a lot of leftover crochet flower so I decided to make more brooch. You can see the pattern for the camomile here.

Material:
- Steel crochet hook #4 (2.5 mm)
- 3 yarn color
- glue
- brooch pin

Crochet Flower Brooch

I've been crocheting for almost two years now and has a lot of leftover trial flower and crocheted stuff that just sit there in the corner of my drawer and I decided to put some of it together to make this cute brooch.

Crochet Four Leaves Clover Brooch

Biarpun sudah malam masih dihitung posting merayakan 17 Agustus ya!!

Kali ini aku mau berbagi ide untuk membuat bros berbentuk semanggi berdaun empat ato four leaves clover tapi kali ini warna daunnya adalah merah putih. Pola daunnya diambil dari pola Sweetheart Earring di blognya "Yellow, Pink, and Sparkly" yang kumodifikasi menjadi sebuah bros. Untuk hasil antingnya bisa diliat disini. Pola di bawah adalah pola menurut versiku dan aku menggunakan US version.

Yang perlu disiapkan adalah:

• Hakpen #4
• Benang Rajut (Merah, Putih)
• Lem Tembak
• Bros Peniti

Daun: Buat 4

Buat magic circle.

1st round: Buat 3ch lalu 11 dc dalam magic circle. Sl st di ch ke 3 untuk menggabung.

2nd round: sl st di dc selanjutnya, (1 sc, 2 dc) di dc selanjutnya, (2dc , 1 sc) di dc selanjutnya, sl st di dc selanjutnya, (1sc, 2 dc) di dc selanjutnya, (2dc , 1 sc) di dc selanjutnya, sl st di 3 dc selanjutnya, (1 sc, 1 dc, 1 sc) di dc selanjutnya, sl st di 3 dc selanjutnya. Matikan.

Crochet: Centifolia Rose Accessories

Rose Necklace / Brooch Base

Flower accessories are always pretty for any occasion, I've made some roses and leaves and combine it and glued it into a feltef fabric. The results is pretty nice but I'm still deciding whether I'm gonna make this one into a brooch or a necklace.

Rose Hair Clip

The roses also look pretty on a hair clip, just made a bunch of roses in a different size or color and glue it into a hair clip.The pattern on this rose can be seen at Crochet Accessories book by Ratu Sri Hastutie. Below is my version of the pattern using US terms.

Material:

- crochet hook #4 (2.5mm)

- yarn

- glue

Rose Pattern:

Round 1: Make 30 ch and make 1 dc in the 3rd chain from hook and dc in the next ch and then make 2 ch and sl st in the 6th ch from hook.

Round 2: Make 3 ch and dc in the next 2 ch, make 2 ch and sl st in the next ch, make 4 ch and 1 tr in the next 4 ch, make 3 ch and sl st in the next ch, make 4 ch and 1 tr in the next 6ch, make 3 ch and sl st in the next ch, make 5 ch and 1 tr int the next 8 ch, make 4 ch and sl st in the last ch. Fasten off.

Roll the crochet to make the flower.

Leaf Pattern:

Make 13 ch and 1 sc in the 2nd ch from hook and the next 2 ch [3 sc], make 1 dc in the next 6 ch [6 dc], make 1 sc in the last 3 ch [3 sc], make 5 ch and sl st in the 2nd ch from hook and the next 3 ch [4 sl st], continue to the other side make 1 sc in the next 3 ch [3 sc], make 1 dc in the next 6 ch [6 dc], and make 1 sc in the last 3 ch [3 sc]. Fasten off.

You can also make the rose into this cute stud earrings. Just use a smaller crochet hook like #1-#2 (1-1.5 mm) and do a fewer rose petals.

ch = chain

dc = double crochet

sc = single crochet

sl st = slip stich

tr = treble crochet
