Review: Tony Moly Dear Me Petite Cotton BB Cream #1 Cotton Beige

Hello there....

This time I want to review a light BB Cream that has been my daily staple. It's Tony Moly Dear Me Petite Cotton BB Cream!! The one that I got is in Cotton Beige shade and I think it's the only one that's available.

Description:

BB for clean and fresh skin like cotton without a darkening effect and troubles!! It helps to maintain soft and clean skin tones with light and thin application textures by perfectly covering blemishes without sticking. Soft, Fresh and Powdery finish texture. It helps to make sleek skin textures by effectively covering pores and fine wrinkles. Contains a Centella asiatica, Witch Hazel and Portulaca Oleracea extracts for low stimulus, a soothing effect and trouble care.

I know it's somewhat late to do a December Haul post but since I've already took the pictures I might as well blog about it right? Last December I didn't bought that many make-up or skin care (I think...) and tend to buy some fashion stuff. So here goes my December Haul fellas...  

Luxury Home Spa Haul:

I've been following Luxury Home Spa's IG for a while and I finally decided to buy their products. Their home spa products are free from dangerous chemical and the ingredients are also natural and food grade. I once left a bottle of the product open and it's covered by ants #LOL. The range of products that I bought from Luxury Home Spa are as follows.

Haul: November 2013

It's time for haul post YAY!! Last November I got quite a number of stuff because I had the "It's My Birthday" excuse!! He he he I usually only put my beauty haul but I'm gonna start to post my fashion haul too.  This month I got a massive addition to my skull addiction so you're gonna see a lot of skull thingy down there.

Review: Tony Moly Berry Berry Magic Lip Tint

Today I'm gonna introduce you to one of my favorite lip tint product!! Why it's my favorite?? Keep reading thenn... So the first time I know about this product is when I went to Tony Moly counter and try it on my lips. After a few time has past I notice that my lips still has a nice pink shade and do not feels dry at all!! After that I decided to ask my favorite online shop Inten's Corner for a pre-order on this baby.

I'm still confuse which shade to choose at that time so ordered one of each.There are three flavors available and they are:
#1 Strawberry
#2 Green Apple
#3 Grape

FYI this lip tint is apparently very popular and one of the best selling products of Tony Moly and it was also boost by the popularity of the K-Drama Boys Over Flower because in that drama Geum Jandi uses Tony Moly Tony Tint Cherry Pink & Berry Berry Magic Lip Tint in 02 Apple Green. While doing research on how the color looks like on lips this is what the color suppose to looks like when it's use on lips (Note that it maybe will look different on different lips):

Strawberry -- will turns into light pink upon application
Green Apple -- will turns into a reddish-magenta color
Grape -- will turns into a burgundy-ish shade of red

Review: The Skin Food Tomato Whitening Emulsion

Hello beautiful people!!

I'm back with another skin care review ^^. If you read my blog a lot (I Hope...) you'll know that I am constantly fighting my acne problems and I have a lot of blemish marks from those days. In order to diminish those blemish marks aside from spot treatment I like to use whitening products like whitening serum or moisturizer. So my purpose on whitening products is not to make my skin whiter but to fade those pesky blemish marks. Okay... Onto the review now... To take care those blemish marks I was very interested in The Skinfood Tomato Line since I there are a lot of good review on this products. I bought The Skinfood Tomato Whitening Serum and Emulsion. The serum goes out first since I use it more often but the emulsion last much much longer because I didn't use much.

Review: The Skinfood Citron Scalp Care Shampoo and Conditioner

Ola!!

How are you people!! I'm planning on making this post yesterday but unfortunately I had a crazy migraine and had to rest. But since I'm feeling better this morning I'm gonna continue what I had plan yesterday. Soo.... As the title said it's a review on Shampoo and Conditioner that I bought a few months back and because I wash my hair every two or three days it took quite long for me to review these products.

My Hair Problem:

Okay... Before I continue onto the review I'm gonna share you about my hair problem first. Here goes:

1. I have dry hair.

My hair is quite dry so I'm in a desperate need of a hair product that can nourish my hair.
2. I have itchy scalp.

I'm one of those unfortunate people who had itchy scalp!! I don't have dandruff problem though but most anti-dandruff shampoo helps tends the itchiness. On the downside though since I have a dry hair those shampoo made my hair worse so I can't really use them. Gaahhh!!!

3. I have a lion mane hair.
My hair tends to puff up like a lion and even though it does help to make it look that I have a lot of hair I think it gives me more problem. I usually tame them using hair iron but since I have a dry hair I can't do it often either, so I need a products that can help to tame my hair.
4. I had a few frizzy patch.
For some reason I had some frizzy patch on parts of my hair and even though I cut that part already, when my hair gets longer the frizzy patch come back in the exact same spot!!

Mega Haul Post!!!!

Finally I get to do this Mega Haul post!!! I've been so busy from last March preparing for umrah, graduation procedure, vacation, and finally packing up since I'm gonna move to Surabaya!! I can't believe it's gonna be my last two month in Jogjakarta.... I love this city soo much!! ┃(`･ω･)ω-*) ♡  But I have to move on and get out of my comfort zone...

Anyway you guys should beware of massive pics!! These are all of the thing that I bought and freebies from March to May.

I had a hard time remembering all of the stuff that I haul and maybe some of them are already packed on a box somewhere on my room #LOL. Most of these are the stuff that I pre-ordered a few months ago, freebies, or things that I bought on vacation. haha… ＼（＾Д＾❤）

Review: The Skinfood Tomato Whitening Serum

Kali ini aku mau review salah satu produk skin care dari brand favorit aku yaitu 'The Skin Food'. Alasan aku suka brand ini adalah selain harganya cukup terjangkau (untuk yang beli online yah bukan di counter) juga cocok di kulit aku yang sangat rewel. Bayangin aja udah sensitif, kombinasi, acne-prone pula!! Kurang nyebelin apa coba (☄ฺ◣д◢)☄ฺﾜｼｬｰ .

Eniwei... Saturday.... Karena jerawatku sudah cukup terkendali walaupun terkadang masih suka ada yang bandel, aku pikir udah waktunya kali ya beralih ke produk yang bisa membantu menghilangkan bekas jerawat. Walaupun malamnya sudah pake tretinoin tapi untuk perawatan pada pagi/siang hari kan belum gitu... Jadi maksudnya supaya bekasnya lebih cepat pergi menjauh ceritanya.. Bayangin aja untuk orang lain mungkin sekitar satu bulan bekas jerawatnya udah bisa hilang kali ya? Tapi untuk kulitku bisa 2-3 lebih lama, apalagi untuk bekas yang lebih lama. Wahhh bisa setengah tahun kali tuh...

Err.... Malah curcol deh ah... Pokoknya... Intinya... Bottom Line is..... Aku mau bekas jerawat lebih cepet ilang.... Dan.... Pilihanku jatuh pada 'The Skin Food Tomato Whitening Serum'... Kenapa beli ini? Karena liat review-review yang lain sih pada bagus-bagus gitu. Selain serum-nya aku juga beli emulsion dari seri yang sama tapi itu akan aku review di lain waktu yahh... 

1st Impression: Etude House Skin Malgem Kit and Quick Trick for Acne-Prone Skin

I haven't update my blog for a while now because I've been busy preparing for my graduation and haven't had the time to post anything and since now I had a lil' bit time I'm gonna post my first impression on Etude House Skin Malgem Kit.

I got this trial kit as a giveaway prize from Intenscorner a few months ago and finally decided to use it.

Exfoliation Toner (Smoother) 15ml
Deep Moisture Freshener (Deep Moist) 15ml
Facial Cotton Pads: Clear Cotton 5 pads & Soft Cotton 3 pads

Skin Malgem Smoother

Etude House Skin [Mal:Gem] Smoother is a hypoallergenic exfoliating toner that makes skin clear and smooth. Orange ingredient reduces appearance of pores and cleans out impurities effectively, by removing dead skin cells. Lemon extract makes dull skin look brighter and clearer while sugar maple promotes softer skin with moisturizing properties.

Directions: After cleansing, apply all over face with cotton swab.

At the back of the bottle it says "Exfoliation Toner", which really helps in keeping skin smooth. This toner has watery consistency and it has a flowery fruity scent. Both of the Smoother and Deep Moist has a similar scent. I use this toner twice a day as a clarifying toner after I wash my face to deep cleanse my skin. A bottle last for about 10 days since I'm only using it a little bit because I don't want it to go empty since I love this toner so much!! This toner really cleanse my skin well, even after I wash my face there is is still some dirt residue on the cotton!! This means (I think) that this toner really cleanse my face well and my face feels extra clean! 

Skin Malgem Smoother

Etude House Skin [Mal:Gem] Deep Moist is a hypoallergenic toner for those with very dry skin. It’s milky like texture allows the moisturizing properties to penetrate so deep and effectively, that additional moisturizers are not needed. Soybean extracts nourish skin sufficiently, improving overall skin condition. While pore controlling properties make skin clear and smooth by reducing their appearance.
Directions: After cleansing, apply all over face with cotton swab.

The Deep Moist is said to fit people with dry and sensitive skin but it works surprisingly well on my oily combination skin too!! I think because Deep Moist is water based rather than oil based so it also suits my skin too. Deep Moist  has a milky texture and looks more like a emulsion or a serum than a toner, so instead using it like a normal toner with cotton I use it like a lotion by rubbing it on my palm and then pat my skin gently with it. Deep Moist feels really nice and it has a cooling effect on my skin too! It is really mild and moisturizes well without making my face feels oily. One small bottle last for about 3 weeks because I only use it in the morning.

Clear Cotton

There's five pad of circular clear cotton in the Skin Malgem Kit and the circular one has wave ridges on it. I think it was suppose to help exfoliate the skin better but regular cotton works the same too.

Soft Cotton

There's also three soft cotton inside the Skin Malgem Kit and it is used as a lotion mask. I use it with the Deep Moist and it left my skin fresh and supple. But regular cotton works just as good though

Moisturizer/Sunblock Trick for Acne-Prone Skin

As I mention regularly on my post... My skin are not good... I have large pore, sensitive, acne prone and oily combination skin which means that I have a constant never ending battle with ACNE!! I usually put acne medication at night but at morning and day I don't have any protection from acne. So I ask my brother about it and he suggest that I mix acne gel with moisturizer or sunblock. That way my skin is protected from acne and since it is mixed with moisturizer too the acne gel won't make my skin dries!! Apparently he's been mixing acne gel and sunblock for a while too!! So.... If you have an acne prone skin like mine and want some extra protection maybe you can use this trick too..!!

I currently use Etude House Skin Malgem Deep Moist and Niacef Acne Gel. You can get Niacef at local pharmacy.

Use about a pea size of acne gel on your palm.

Add moisturizer, emulsion, serum, sunblock or whatever it is that you want to mix with the acne gel. Rub your palm together and pat the product lightly on your face. I use them on my neck too since I have a few acne on my neck (T.T),

February Haul, Favorites and Gifts

It's the end of the month already and it's usually when I share my February Haul which consists mostly of the thing that I bought February and also share about my February Favorites. Most of the things I post in here are bought by me but I got lucky this month because I got a lot of gift too!! Seems February is my lucky month this year.. I got a lot of nice gifts and I also pass my thesis exam!!

Max Factor Haul

These are the stuff that I bought from Max Factor Counter in Galeria Jogjakara, I went there with Puput and ended up buying more stuff than I originally want to buy .

Max Factor Long Lasting Foundation (Ivory Beige)
I'm not really a big fan of foundation, but this foundation from Max Factor really makes me a converter!! It blends like a second skin, feels velvety smooth and doesn't make me breakout!!  This foundation is on my favorites of this month.
