Review: Etude House Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color #OR202 Peach Sugar Cake

Hi Again...

I'm gonna add one more review for today because I was planning to go today but it was cancelled due to the volcanic ash rain. My car was in a total mess this morning but fortunately the rain comes and wash all the dirt. Anyway there's probably tons of review on this particular product because the Sweet Recipe line from Etude House was such a huge hit back when it was release and I'm also one the people that got enchanted by its cuteness especially the Cupcake All Over Color. I mean the premise that you can use a single product with multiple purposes looks really awesome and I'm instantly smitten with the Peach Sugar Cake shade.

Description:
Etude House Cupcake Recipe All Over Color is a multifunctional product that can be used on eyes, lips and cheeks.

Packaging:
The Cupcake All Over Color comes in a kawaii little cupcake shape tin jar with a raised 3D lid that resembles the icing (with sprinkle on top!!).

Color:
The Peach Sugar Cake has a pastel peach color and it's my favorite shade!! The colors looks lighter than the original color when applied and blend on my skin. 

Scent / Texture:
It has really nice sweet peach scent! Kinda like peach jelly and it makes me wanna eat something sweet when I smell it #LOL. Have to be careful around children because they might eat it for real. As for the texture I think it's like a combination of waxy and balm. Is that making any sense?? I thought t was gonna be a tad oily but it turns somewhat powdery when it's applied on my skin. The finishing look is slightly matte and dewy and I think it's perfect for that flushed cheeks look.

As a Lip Color:
As a lip color the Peach Sugar Cake look more of a nude pink peach on my lips and it super accentuate my fine lines!! I think I have to totally moisture and exfoliate my lips at least 30 minutes before I put the Peach Sugar Cake on my lips. The color looks sheer at first but it was build-able. I think it looks nice on me as long as I look from afar so I won't notice how dry my lips are and how visible the lines are #LOL. To cover this problem I usually add a layer of lip  loss afterwards but I won't use it on my lips often.

As a Blusher:
Peach Sugar Cake goes smoothly on my cheeks and it has a slight matte and dewy finish. I mean it's matte but it also has a slight glow to it. It makes me looks like I have a healthy flushed cheeks and perfect for people who like the "no makeup" makeup look. The color last for about 3-4 hours on my cheek which is about average for a blusher and it's a permanent residence on my makeup pouch.

As an Eye Shadow:
As an eye shadow the Peach Sugar Cake did not work for me. I have an oily lid and it crease easily even after I put on a primer. I think it'll look nicer if I use it as a base color for my eye shadow but I seriously doubt it.

What I Like:
- multifunctional
- super cute packaging
- smells great
- blends easily
- build-able color

What I Don't Like:
- it's in a jar so hygiene issue people...
- dries my lips
- emphasize my lip line
- crease as an eye shadow
