I haven't been able to blog for about a week because of connection problem but since this afternoon the connection is apparently quite well so before it gets slow again I'm gonna do a quick post. Today's post is a review on Sariayu Shimmering Powder and Sariayu is a local brand that I think has a very good quality and great price too!!
Sariayu Shimmering Powder comes in a compact plastic case with a small kabuki brush. I've thrown away the box but the powder comes with a small plastic case to keep the powder and the brush together.
The powder has 4 color and they are shape like a flower petal. Cute right? The color can be used individually or mix together with the brush.
The small kabuki brush has a good quality too. The bristles are quite dense and soft so it doesn't felt prickly at all. I sometimes use it for loose powder too.
L-R: All color mix together, Beige, Pink, Brown, White |
Swatch:
As I said before there are 4 color in the powder and all of it has different function but can be mix together too.
White: For highlight and under eye brightener but I like it on my underline too.
Brown: For shading and contouring but it's really nice as an eyeshadow too.
Pink: For blusher and sometimes as eyeshadow.
Beige: As powder.
Mix: Mix all of the color for a nice shimmering effect.
This is how the powder look on my skin when I mix all of the color. I found that it gives a warmer look on my skin and it works more like a bronzer to me so I don't use it that way often.
I try taking pictures while using the powder but apparently it doesn't really shows on pictures. I use the white as highlight on my nose bridge and forehead and cover it again with the beige color, use the beige on my upper cheek, pink as blusher and the brown as a light contouring on my jawline.
Where to Buy?
Sariayu counter, cosmetic shop, mall, Guardian, etc.
How Much?
The last time I saw was around IDR 60.000 or so.
Mukanya bersih dan kinclong banget mbaa sekarang.. :), tapi shimmering powder ini gak cocok buat yang berkuit sawo matang seperti saya :(
