Review: Jordana Matte Lipstick in Tangerine Tango

Continuing with some previous theme which is Lippie Stuff today I'm gonna review another lip product and it's gonna be a Matte Lipstick!! I've never own or interested in matte lipstick before because my lips gets dry very easy and from what I heard Matte Lipstick tend to dries your lips until one day I saw Jordana Matte Lipstick on discount at Cherry Culture!! The price was soo cheap so I think that I have nothing to loose right? If I don't like it I can give it to my mom or preloved it. Onto the review than shall we??

Packaging:

Jordana Matte Lipstick comes in a gold plastic bullet packaging and also plastic transparent lid. I like a transparent lid like this because I can see the color without opening the lid. It does look cheap but considering the price I don't have any complain.  Oh and another thing is I don't really like the fact that I can't twist the lipstick until it's properly tuck inside the bullet, I'm an accident prone kinda gall so this type of packaging is like accident waiting to happen .

Swatches:

I choose Tangerine Tango because from the color chart it looks orange but when the lipstick come it turns out more of a red orange color than the actual orange that I was hoping for. It's partially my fault though because I don't search for the swatches look before hand. But don't worry I still love the color very much!! When I swatch it on my hand it does looks kinda tangerine-ish but when I use it on my lips it definitely look super bright orange!! I only use one coat for the swatches so this lipstick is super pigmented. True too their product claim

My Thoughts:

I expect that this lipstick gonna felt waxy and it does tugs a bit if I don't wear lip balm beforehand but when I did apply lip balm it felt smooth. I expect my lips to get dry but fortunately it's not as dry as I expect it would be which is quite surprising. Surprisingly happy though!! I also like that this lipstick has many range color from nude, pink, peach to red. Perfect for every taste!! Jordana also claims that the Matte Lipstick is long wearing and they are indeed!!! I wear the lipstick for more than 6 hours with eating and drinking and they still perfectly fine!! Oh and you know you hate it when you apply bold lipstick and they get into your teeth? I didn't experience any of it too!! If only they made the lipstick perfectly tucked inside the bullet I think I might get my hands on all 24 shades of it he he he... Oh here's some photo spam of me with the lipstick. I don't really plan on going anywhere so I don't put on any other make-up on. It does look kinda weird but oh well....

What I Like:

- Lots of color.
- Affordable.
- Highly pigmented.
- Not too drying.

What I Don't Like:

- Slightly tugging on lips without lip balm.
- The lipstick isn't properly tucked in inside the bullet.
