Review: Tsukiyo Soap (Bee Queen, Kappa's Treat & Sayonara Acne)

Today's review is not about lip products although I still have some lippies to review but since this particular review is slightly overdue I think those lippies review can be put on hold right? So what is it? It's an eco soap from Tsukiyo Soap!! What's an eco soap you say? Eco soap is a soap that is friendly for the environment and of course beneficial for our health too because most of the ingredients are natural and not synthetic. Plus, since eco soap is usually handmade we can know for sure that there's no animal testing too! The first time I know about the soap was because the owner of the soap itself Tsukiyo e-mail me and she said that she would like to send some of her handmade soap for me to try on and of course I said yess!! Here are the soap that she sent me.

She sent me three kinds of soap to try on and they are Kappa's Treat, Bee Queen and Sayonara Acne. Doncha think the names and label are uber cute!! Each soap is 70gr and they fit perfectly on my palm. Tsukiyo Soap has 17 variant to choose from too!!

Bee Queen:
The yummy honey has many sweet facts known for centuries; from moisturizing, anti-aging, even healing the annoying scars from your beautiful skin Honey is also great choice for sensitive skin. Who said that only the queen bee deserves the best honey around? You can also BEE the queen yourself!

Ingredients:
Purified Water (Aqua), Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Elais Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Honey, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), High-Quality Fragrance Oil (Phthalate Free), Paraben Free.

My Thoughts on Bee Queen:
Bee Queen like it's name has this sweet nice scent but since it's a natural soap the scent doesn't last long. It was gone not more than an hour after I shower. Doesn't matter though because I tend to use body mist afterwards too. Tsukiyo sent me the Bee Queen because I have a scar problem on my legs from constant scratching (I can't help it!!) and now I had a few dark pigmentation on my legs. The first time I use the soap I notice that it's kinda foamy and from what I know "SLS" is the one that makes a soap foamy. But don't worry Tsukiyo Soap do not use SLS on their products and the soap produce a lot of foam because of the Palm Oil or is it Coconut Oil?? Lemme text Tsukiyo again and tell you that he he he. A bar of Bee Queen last for about 2.5 weeks and I notice that my dark pigmentation is only slightly better. But then again it always itches and I always scratch it so if I'm holding back from scratching I think the scar would fades faster.

Sayonara Acne:
Tired of expensive acne treatment that doesn't give satisfying result? Go back to nature and try this one; a burst of refreshing citrus: lemon and key lime combination is a perfect way to deal with troubled, acne- prone skin. The name says it all; you can proudly shout 'Sayonara!' to those red pimples now!

Ingredients:
Purified Water (Aqua), Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Elais Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Citrus Aurantiifolia (Key Lime) Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Extract, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Food-Grade Colorant (Skin Friendly, Paraben Free), High-Quality Fragrance Oil (Phthalate Free).

My Thoughts on Sayonara Acne:
Sayonara Acne are made from Key Lime and Lemon so it definitely has that citrussy scent on it. I myself like to use lemon as DIY Mask to fight acne and reduce blemish marks although I don't do it often since my skin is sensitive and Lemon Mask stings a bit. The first time I use this soap I try to leave it for a few minutes as a bubble mask but after only a minute I stop because it stings!! It definitely feel the same like the DIY Mask! Sigh... It does sting but on the other hand it also helps dries my acne (hence the sting). I mostly use it at night to help fight those acne and blemish marks. Oh.. Oh... I use it on my back too to fight those pesky bacne. I usually use Apple Cider Vinegar but sometimes the smells bother people #LOL.

Kappa's Treat:
Wondering why Kappa loves cucumber so much? I don't know but I'm sure he doesn't use it for beauty treatment under the water lol~ XD Anyway, cucumber is not only for Kappa but also for you! Yes you, who have oily skin that breaks out easily. Cucumber helps to control sebum therefore it's also the best acne-prevention around. Or if you have dark circles that make you look like panda, you already know which soap to use, right?

Ingredients:
Purified Water (Aqua), Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Elais Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Juice, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Food-Grade Colorant (Skin Friendly, Paraben Free), High-Quality Fragrance Oil (Phthalate Free).

My Thoughts on Kappa's Treat:
My favorite thing about Kappa's Treat is how lovely the scent is!! I wish there's a perfume or body mist with this scent and I'm gonna hoard a bunch of those baby!! Hmm.. Suddenly it reminds me of Melon Cucumber body mist that I use to have. I can't seem to get it anymore.... I like take a good whiff of Kappa's Treat in the morning as a mood booster before I wash my face. Cucumber has many benefits on skin and I also like to use it to reduce puffy eyes, soothes skin from sunburn and as a mask to help with my complexion. I've been wanting to do a DIY Cucumber Toner but was too lazy to do it because it takes time and not to mention a dirty kitchen!! I live alone and have to clean up afterwards so yeahh.. I'll do it later. I don't feel immediate effect on Sebum control the first time I use the soap, it took about a week or so for me to feel the effect and it does help with Sebum provided that I don't go all out basking under the sun. Overall my favorite soap is Kappa's Treat from all of the three Tsukiyo Soap that I've tried. Ohh.. I almost forgot... When the weather is hot and humid and I feel like my pores are opening up like crazy this soap helps me tightens it too!! No smaller though.. Just back to its original condition... I wonder if it'll get smaller if I use it continuously?

Pro:
- environmental friendly
- natural ingredients
- vegan friendly

Cons:
- I wish the scent would last longer

How Much?
IDR 37.500 or $4.75/pc [70gr/ 2.47oz]

Where to Buy?
- Etsy

Note:
Some might think that Tsukiyo Soap melts easily and therefore runs out faster than normal soap so I suggest to use Foaming Net, Shower Net or Soap Saver to make the soap last longer. Here's what mine's looks like:

The left one is the foaming net and the right one is the soap saver. I crochet my own soap saver because it's cheaper and the foaming net is from Ace Hardware. As for the shower net I think it's a pretty common stuff right? You know.. those ball net thingy that you put liquid soap to make a foam? You can use it with a bar soap too. Oh I just remembers one last thing, since Tsukiyo Soap do not use any preservatives you have to use the soap 8 months after you receive it otherwise it'll expire. Toodless!!!
