Review: Max Factor Lippie (Lipfinity Lasting Lip Tint #10 Latte and Flipstick Colour Effect Lipstick #30 Gypsy Red)

Today I'm gonna continue with my previous lippe review project and today's review is on two lip products from Max Factor. The first one is Max Factor Lipfinity Lasting Lip Tint in Shade #10 Latte and the second one is Max Factor Flipstick Colour Effect Lipstick in Shade #30 Gypsy Red. I've been into Max Factor lately and I have a few of their products from Foundation, Nail Polish, Eyeliner, Eye Shadow, Lip Tint, Lipstick and off course my Favorite MASCARA!! They had such a great products with affordable prices!!

The left one is Flipstick and the right one is Lipfinity.

Lipfinity Lasting Lip Tint #10 Latte

Lipfinity Lasting Lip Tint creates colour with a depth and intensity that ''lasts longer''. It has 10 vibrant shades for any occasion. Intense colours permeate the surface of lips. Handy pen applicator makes application easy and precise. Water-based formula infuses colour layers on lips. Matt kiss-proof colour won’t smudge

Packaging:
This lip tint looks like a standard marker with a see through cap and the felt tip makes the application very easy. The cap is very sturdy so it's convenient for traveling but make sure the caps is close securely otherwise it'll get dry.

Ingredients:
Aqua, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Polysorbate 80, PEG-150, Phenoxyethanol, Aroma, PVP, Potassium Sorbate, Triethanolamine, Acacia Senegal Gum, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Benzophenone-4, Sodium Saccharin, Propylparaben, Sodium Hyaluronate, [+/- CI 15985, CI 16035, CI 17200, CI 19140, CI 42090, CI 45410]

Swatches and Texture:
It has a very liquidy texture since it's water base, smells a bit sweet but not too noticeable unless you smell the felt tip directly and it also has a slight sweet taste to it too. I don't notice it at first because I don't usually lick my lips #LOL but on one occasion I did and that's when I notice the taste.

There are two ways on using this Lip Tint. The first one is you use the pointy tip as a lip liner like the top picture and the second one is using it with the flat side like a regular lipstick to fill in the previous liner. I personally bough this lip tint to use it as a lip liner because I normally don't use lip liner and I don't like and obvious line on my lips. By using this lip tint when my lipstick fades it just looks natural and not weird (at least that's what I think). This lip tint didn't feel stick at all and feels very light on my lips like I'm wearing nothing! It has a matte finish and looks really natural. When I use it on my whole lips it doesn't look like I'm using anything right?? Since it's a lip tint or lip stain type the color of course stays quite long and won't budge. I use it for like 6 hours and more and they still there with minimum fading. On the down side though this lip tint does make my lips dry so a lip balm is always necessary. When I use this lip tint on my whole lips I put on lip balm afterwards but when I use it as a lip liner I use lip balm before and wait until it absorbs and then use the lip tint. If the lip balm didn't absorbs properly the color won't stay

What I Like:
- convenient and easy to use.
- light on lips.
- matte and natural looking.

What I Don't Like:
- slightly drying on lips without lip balm.

Flipstick Colour Effect Lipstick #30 Gypsy Red

Flipstick Colour Effect Duo Lipstick - Create your own lip coulour. Flip it, mix it for tantalising lips. Expertly matched to create complementary colours. One side creamy and the other side shimmery. Rich formula is easy to blend for a sultry finish.

Packaging:
It comes in a slim bullet twist packaging. I personally think it's kinda like a kids crayon #LOL. The cap is transparent so I can recognize the color and the lipstick is nicely tugged in inside the bullet so I won't accidentally ruin the lipstick.

Ingredients:
Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Isopropyl Isostearate, Mica, Ethylhexyl Hydroxystearate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Acetylated Lanolin, Ozokerite, Candelilla Cera, Paraffin, Squalane, Copernicia Cerifera Cera, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetyl Lactate, Parfum, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Lauroyl Lysine, Tocopheryl Acetate, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Serica Powder, Maltodextrin, Persea Gratissima Oil, Cocos Nucifera Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Retinyl Palmitate, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Limonene, Propylparaben, [+/- CI 15850, CI 15985, CI 19140, CI 42090, CI 45370, CI 45380, CI 45410, CI 75470, CI 77015, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, CI 77891]

Texture and Swatches:
The Gypsy Red has a red coral color on the creamy side and gold copper color on the shimmer side and both color has a frosty finish. The red is pigmented but I felt that it didn't glide smoothly on my lips when I didn't put on any lip balm before and unfortunately it's not as moisturizing as I expected. The copper gold one glides smoother than the red but unfortunately it's not quite pigmented. I do like the combination of both color though, it's the one that I did most often. Even though it's not as moisturizing as I expected but I still really like it because I can do a different look on this one and it looks pretty too!!

This lipstick also accentuate some of the lines on my lips so it's better to use a clear lip gloss afterward if those lines bother you. There are many looks than can be achieve with this flipstick and if you're into those ombre lips you might like the flipstick because it can help creates those ombre look in a snap! As for the longevity I use it for 4-5 hours with eating and drinking and the color is pretty much still there unless if I do the ombre look then it left my lips looking coral.

There are 6 looks that I created  using this lipstick:
1. Only the red.
2. Only the gold copper.
3. Red first and gold copper on top.
4. Gold copper on the inside lips and red on the outer lips.
5. Red on the inside lips and gold copper on the outer lips.
6. Red on the upper lips and and ombre gold copper on the middle of bottom lips.

What I Like:- pigmented.
- able to create variety of look.
- beautiful color.
- easy to use.

What I Don't Like:
- didn't glides smoothly on lips.
- accentuate fine lines.
- slightly drying on lips.

    1. Yeah the Flipstick has a lovely shade but I hate the way it accentuate the lines on my lips. A coat of translucent lip gloss should fix that problem though
