Crochet Wristwatch Band

(●´・ω・)ノ☆☆☆HELLO☆☆☆☆ヽ(・ω・`○)

I can't believe it's a new month already.... My extended vacation has been extends for more than a month now he he he ((*´∀`*))ノ゛バイ②♪. I know I should have back to Jogjakarta and started packing my stuff but the thought of having to move and tidying up all of the stuff that I've been hoarding in my room makes me dizzy ( #LOL I have to many things).

Okay.... So I've been staying at my aunt's house in Jakarta and while searching for yarn to use for crocheting I found this wrist watch that has no arm band

.
The watch belongs to my cousin and my guest is either she lost the band because her children plays with it or because her children plays with it and ruin the band, bottom line is this watch is still in good condition. Because it is such a waste of a good watch I think it would be great if I make a crochet band for the wrist watch and this lovely colorful soft yarn would look really cute.

Utterly Easy Golden Sphere Charm Bracelet

A few days ago I went to a local craft shop in Jogjakarta to see if there's something new and I saw this cute golden sphere thingy.

Aren't they cute??? So I bought them and thinking it would look really good if I made it into a charm bracelet. I only use one of the sphere because  if I use several of them it's gonna look too over the top. Here's the materials that I use:

Flat Needle

I use this needle thingy with a flat edges to make the sphere into a charm.

Golden Chain

I really like this golden chain because the chain ring are big and it's already looks great as it is.

Golden Ring

I really like the fact that there are several color of this ring because it used to be only in silver color, now they have in blue, white, pink, green and many other color. Anyway here's what the finished charm bracelet looks like...

Pretty!!

Close Up on the Sphere

I got a matching golden clamp too!

Simple but really cute

Stitch Marker Charm Bracelet

If you don't know or never heard of a stitch marker before here's an easy explanation. Stitch marker is a tools that is used by crocheters and knitters alike. They can be used to mark a certain number of stitches, the beginning of a round, where to make a particular stitch, and more. I usually made my own stitch marker because I have a lot of beads available at home so I don't have to buy one. Here's what mine looks like......

Pretty right?? I use them to mark my crochet progress or the beginning and end of a round but got tired of using them because the lobster clamp keep ruining my nails and change my stitch marker with a paper clip. It's more convenient, easy to use, have a lovely color and doesn't ruin my nails. So what do I do with this unused stitch marker?? I'm thinking of selling mine at first but a few days ago I saw from Instagram of a fellow crocheter who use the stitch marker as a charm bracelet. That's it!! Why didn't I think of that before!! So open my craft box and start looking for my stash of chain and some lobster clamp for the bracelet and here's what my new charm bracelet looks like...!!

Soooo cute...!!! And since each of the stitch marker have their own clamp I can change the design of the charm bracelet. YAY!!

Comet Wrist Cuff Pattern

Hi there fellow yarn lover!!

Today I'm gonna share a pattern on this Wrist Cuff pattern. I got this pattern from Betsey at her blog Post Card From Waterloo. The idea of this cuff came from a comet, well if you see the picture on my post it doesn't really looks like it but when you visit her blog you'll notice the shape. I got the basic pattern from her blog and then I alternate it using available material so the end result is kinda different from the original.

Material I Use:
- Local cotton yarn
- Key chain ring
- Steel crochet hook #5 (3 mm)

I made this fairly quick, it takes about an hour or so while watching TV. My cuff is smaller than the original because I use thinner yarn and smaller hook size (the original use 3.75 mm hook). I don't have 1.5 inch O-ring or washer so I use the only one with similar shape which is key chain ring. For the buttons, I replace them with a crochet button in another color. I choose the one with the glitter to make it more sparkly ^^.

If you want to make one go check out here.

Crochet Friendship Bracelet

Today I'm gonna share a pattern on this super easy friendship bracelet. You can make it in any color and the width and length is adjustable. I made this using two strands of yarn and crochet them together but you can also make it with more than two color, just adjust it with your hook size. More yarns means bigger hook. This bracelet is perfect for beginners who wants to make a quick and easy accessories. The bracelet will look better if your wear several of them together. The pattern that I will use in this post in the pattern using two strands of yarn.

Material:
- Two color of your choices of yarn color (I use local cotton yarn)
- Steel crochet hook #5 (3 mm)

Pattern:
Round 1: ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in the remaining ch [3 sc]
Note: if you want to make a wider bracelet just crochet more ch

Round 2: ch 1, turn, and sc in each sc across

Round 3: repeat round 2 until you reach your desired length. Fasten off.

Bracelet Tail:
Cut several pieces of yarn together at your desired length and attach it to the end of each bracelet. After that braid those strands of yarn and when you finish the braid just tie it into a knot and trim the uneven edges. This braided part is use to tie your bracelet.

Terms:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet

Good evening fellas....

I've been running errands since this morning and it took longer than I expected so this post is been abandon since morning. This time I'm gonna make a tutorial on recycled t-shirt necklace and bracelet. The tutorial is pretty easy, I think anyone can make this neat accessories. No sewing, no gluing, just scissors and your hand.

Photobucket

The reason behind this idea is when I wear my favorite t-shirt and go to bed, I notice the day after that the neckline seam is ruin.

Crochet Ruffle Bracelet

Hello.... I'm gonna share to you this cute bracelet pattern that I found. The bracelet name is actually Crowned Jewel Bracelet but I think it's more toward a ruffle than a crown. I think if I made this bracelet in a bigger size or a thicker yarn the shape will be more like a crown that a ruffle.

I use steel crochet hook #5 (3mm) and local cotton yarn to make this bracelet, the original pattern uses one of those snap piece button to join this bracelet but I make a button hole and a button from the same yarn to join this bracelet. You can also adjust the size of this bracelet by using bigger / smaller crochet hook or by adding / reducing chain numbers.

If you're interested in making this "Crowned Jewel Bracelet" by Cooksterz, you can visit her blog here or get her pattern here.  But if you're interested in buying one you can visit my shop Pernak Pernik Sekar.
