Longer and Thicker Lashes with Castor Oil

I think most woman nope... Scratch that... ALL woman want's longer, thicker and fuller lashes right? There's a lot of Eye Lash Serum out there in the market and the price range is sometimes too fantastic and definitely way over budget. I've seen one with a USD100 price tag!! R U FREAKIN KIDDING ME!! It's too expensive!! Well if you're looking for a longer or thicker lashes you can try Castor Oil!! Castor Oil or "Minyak Jarak" has been used to treat hair loss and I use it myself for oil cleansing and hair treatment. Here's how my eye lashes look after using Castor Oil.. I forgot how long it took but I reckon it's more than a month.

I'm gonna add one more review for today because I was planning to go today but it was cancelled due to the volcanic ash rain. My car was in a total mess this morning but fortunately the rain comes and wash all the dirt. Anyway there's probably tons of review on this particular product because the Sweet Recipe line from Etude House was such a huge hit back when it was release and I'm also one the people that got enchanted by its cuteness especially the Cupcake All Over Color. I mean the premise that you can use a single product with multiple purposes looks really awesome and I'm instantly smitten with the Peach Sugar Cake shade.

Review: Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express Washable Mascara

Another review for to day before I'm back again to yet another Doctor Who marathon he he he What's it about? It's Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara!! What so interesting about this mascara? Well... My ole time favorite mascara ever the Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara is almost empty and the last time I went to Max Factor counter the price has increased to IDR 158.000!! I mean.... That's just... I don't.... #LostWords #ASDFGHJKL So after a little shock on my make-up budget I decided to look for other mascara and then I went to the Maybelline counter. That's when I saw "The Rocket" and see that it has similar wand!! YAY!! And the price is almost half the Max Factor one too!! I ask the BA (Beauty Assistant) and she said that this mascara is also waterproof so I without further adieu I bought it. After I bought it I then looked for the review and pictures of the mascara and most of the picture shows that the one that I bought is a WASHABLE mascara and not a WATERPROOF mascara!! I big NO NO for me because that means I'll get a panda eye then!! What the #$%^!!! The waterproof kind has a blue label and the washable one has a pink label. The one that's sold in Indonesia as far as I know is only the pink label so that means it's the washable kind right? Even though I already had bad feeling but it I still give the mascara a go....

I got this eye shadow palette as a gift from my best friend when she goes to Australia for a vacation. This brand is a bit foreign for me too but Chi-Chi Cosmetics is a local Australian Brand and they have a variety of products from eye shadows, lipsticks, nail polishes to make up brush and tanning lotion. The one that my friend got for me is Chi-Chi Billion Dollar Wallet Eye Shadow in Gold Digger. This colour wallet contains twelve of their best selling eye shadows. The eye shadows are velvety soft and highly pigmented too!!

Review: Viva Cream Eye Shadow

Hari ini sedang cukup produktif jadi nambah satu post lagi deh... Berhubung stok eye shadow ada macam-macam dan semuanya masih menunggu untuk di review kali ini aku cicil satu lagi deh... Awalnya beli ini gara-gara keracunan ses Arum, waktu itu dia beli macem-macem warna dan ternyata sekarang udah dipreloved semua pulakkk...  

Tadinya cuma kepingin beli satu warna tapi lama-lama nambah dan nambah lagi he he he... Ada total 14 warna dari Viva Cream Eye Shadow ini yaitu Biru, Coklat, Coklat Tua, Hijau, Ungu, Ungu Tua, Silver, Gold, Putih, Merah, Hitam, Peach, Orange dan Tembaga.

Kemasan:

Eye Shadow dari Viva ini dijual dalam bentuk kemasan satuan berbentuk bulat dan terbuat dari plastik. Tutupnya transparan jadi gampang lah kalau mau liat warnanya tanpa perlu buka-buka kemasan. Tapi sayangnya kemasannya rapuh banget dan ada beberapa yang tidak bisa menutup dengan kencang dan ada juga yang malah susah dibuka. Pernah aku bawa salah satu warna (lupa yang mana) untuk travelling dan tutupnya kebuka di dalam pouch, walhasil nempel kemana-mana deh si eye shadow ini dan pernah juga aku kesulitan membuka kemasan dan waktu kebuka kukuku (errr kukuku?? ) nyungsep ke dalam eye shadow dan jadinya sekarang si eye shadow bentuknya gag rapi rata gitu. Jadi sekarang kalau mau dibawa pergi suka aku karetin atau selotip.

Tekstur:
Tekstur Viva Cream Eye Shadow tidak creamy sesuai dengan namanya malah cenderung keras dan kering. Awalnya kupikir bakal seperti tekstur NYX Cream Blush atau Maybelline Color Tattoo gitu tapi ternyata jauh lebih keras dan kering. Tapi tenang aja dicolek dikit udah keluar kok warnyanya (dicolek? sabunn kaliii!! )

Kemasan:
Kemasan eye shadow trio ini cukup compact, terbuat dari plastik transparan sehingga isinya dapat dengan mudah dilihat tanpa harus dibuka. Aku memang lebih suka dengan kemasan transparan karena kadang suka ribet gitu kalau harus buka-buka produk untuk lihat warnanya #aslinyamalasdoank. Selain itu yang cukup unik adalah kemasannya dibuka ke samping jadi waku aku awal beli tuh rada bingung karena kupikir dibuka ke atas seperti kemasan-kemasan pada umumnya dan mikir ini eye shadow kok susah banget dibukanya #LOL ya iyaalaahhh secara salah buka gituhhh.

Eye shadow ini dilengkapi dengan aplikator dua sisi berupa kuas dan spons, selain itu juga terdapat cermin di tutupnya #engakkefoto. Walau cermin dan aplikatornya tidak terpakai karena cerminnnya kecil banget dan aplikatornya kurang bagus tapi usaha dari Sariayu untuk menyertakan cermin dan aplikator patut diacungi jempol. Boleh lah kalau mepet lupa bawa cermin dan kuas sendiri. Di dalam eye shadow juga terdapat lapisan lembaran plastik untuk melindungi eye shadow dari kontaminasi.

Review: Bless Soft Eye Shadow (Deep Black)

Sebetulnya produk eye shadow lokal ini sudah cukup lama aku miliki cuma jujur aja masih jarang dipakai. Kenapa? Dulu belinya gara-gara diracunin Arum sama Puput, trus habis beli... Bingung.... Aku aja tiap hari jarang make eye shadow udah gitu warnanya hitam lagi?!?!? Mau pake kemanaaaaaa?!?!?!?! Trus kalo aku pake nanti alih-alih bergaya ala Taylor Momsen nantinya malah dikira korban KDRT lagi... Errr..... Yah pokoknya begitulah.. Yuk lanjut ke reviewnya beneran...

Kemasan dari eye shadow Bless ini sangat sederhana dan simpel. Berupa kemasan plastik berwarna putih pucat dan karena isinya eye shadow hitam jadi terlihat cepat kotor deh. Berhubung ini model single eye shadow jadinya tidak ada bonus aplikator.

Review: NYX Retractable Eye Liner

O Hello!!

I just got back from Jakarta this morning and super tired, but since I had a spare time tonight I wanted to make a review on theses NYX Retractable Eye Liner that I had for quite some time now and really loving it!! I prefer this type of eyeliner because liquid eyeliner bristle tends to stuck between my eyelashes and makes application a bit hard and messy. So generally I prefer pencil eye liner but I still like liquid eye liner because it gives a more bold and precision look.

Anyway back to NYX Retractable Eye Liner.... I had five of these baby and I really really want to get them in more color but had to held back to save money and I don't think I'm gonna use the other color every day anyway. But if I bought them I had to make myself to use them anyway right??? Ahhh.... Somebody stop me!!!

Packaging:

I really like this eye liner because it's retractable and I don't need to sharpen it because I am really bad at doing it. Most of my pencil eyeliner gone in a flash because I can't help myself from over-sharpening them. This means no more waste products too!! On the other side because I can't sharpen them I can't make a fine line with this eye liner.

Colors:

There are 18 color and I have 5 of them.

Aqua Green

Aqua Green is a beautiful shimmer teal.

Lime Green

Lime Green is shimmery lime green

Deep Blue

Deep Blue is a shimmery dark denim or is it navy?

Bronze

 Bronze is a dark brown with pink shimmers on it.

Deep Purple

 Deep purple is a matte dark purple.

The Eye Liner:

These eye liners are quite pigmented when I swatch them on my hand but when I apply them on my eyes they are not as pigmented. I have to swipe them several times to get a desirable results. Also funny thing is some colors glides better than the other one. For example the Bronze one glides really well but the Deep Purple is a bit waxy and kinda dragged a bit on my skin. Tugging my eye solves this dragging problem though....

Smudge Test:
Once this baby are set it cannot budge so if I want to smudge this out for a smokey eyes look (although I rarely did that) I have to do it right away because once the colors are on it stays on like forever!! I try to rub them really hard with my hand and they just won't budge.

 Waterproof Test:

For waterproof test I put the swatch on my hand, put it on running water and then try to rub my hands real hard.

I put these liner in running water for about a minute and they pretty much stays the same like Joey McIntyre song #LOL.

After the running water test I keep my skin in a damp condition for about 30 seconds and wipe really hard with my hands and it only smudge a little bit. I think it was good since normally I would never rubs my eyes really hard like that.

Easy to Clean:
I'm using waterproof make-up remover and it was pretty easy to clean. Just one gentle swipe almost clean the whole products.

What I Like:

- Waterproof
- Smudgeproof
- Great color

What I Don't Like:
- Drags my skin a bit.
- Some colors glides better that the other.

SUNKissed Make-Up

Ever heard of Sunkissed Cosmetics?? Neither did I until I got a few of their products as a gift from my BFF. I google about them after that and apparently they are a company that have been selling bronzing cosmetics and gift packs all-over the UK and beyond for the last 7 years - some of their best-sellers are Giant Compact Bronzer and Bronzing Dusting Brush. Recently they have launched a range of self-tan products too.

I'm not really a fan of tan look or sun kissed look because I'm not really that good on making that look. But luckily the color in the gift box are really pretty. Here's what the box looked like.

The box is really pretty and it was quite hard too and it is covered with some sort of fake leather. There's also a handle and a buckle to hold the box at the top.

Here's what the inside of the box looks like and as you can see there a lot of stuff in there. One thing that I love is that there's also a big mirror in it!!

This gift box also comes with some brushes for application but the quality is so-so I guess, so I don't use them very much and I think I've only use them once.
