Haul: November 2013

It's time for haul post YAY!! Last November I got quite a number of stuff because I had the "It's My Birthday" excuse!! He he he I usually only put my beauty haul but I'm gonna start to post my fashion haul too.  This month I got a massive addition to my skull addiction so you're gonna see a lot of skull thingy down there.

Hi There ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ!!!

I can't believe it's September already and I've been living in Surabaya for a week now. I'm still remembering my way and it's been really hard because I don't remember the road easily. I have to go over again, again and again to remember my way. Thank GOD for built in GPS!!!

I was also so busy last month and didn't think that I was gonna buy stuff but I still end up buying a few too. I mostly bought eyeliner err scratch that! I bought eyeliners!! A bunch of them too!!

 

Bobble Bow Hair Clip

Hello!!

Just wanted a quick share on this lovely bobble bow hair clip that I made last night and just finished it this morning. 

Hehehe when I post this on IG my friend said it looks like a moustache. I called it... Bowstache!!! #LOL

Cute Hairclip

Sejak rambut dan poni mulai panjang aku jadi suka beli macam2 jepit dan karet rambut karena meskipun aku cukup suka berambut panjang tapi aku gag suka mengurai rambutku karena selain panas kalau rambut dan poniku terurai wajahku yang sering terkena rambut lebih mudah jerawatan. Waktu lagi jalan2 aku liat beberapa jepit rambut lucu dan akhirnya kena racun dan beli deh.....

Yang ini aku suka banget bisa buat jepit poni atau pun asesoris rambut.

Crochet Ruffled Hair Clip

I got this purple gradation yarn leftover and decided to put it in my old plastic hair clip. This ruffle is easy to make but in order to make the hair clip really ruffly you have to make it pretty long. After you make it in the desired length just glue it to the hair clip.

Pattern:

Make ch at your desired length.
Round 1: Make 1 dc in the 4th ch from hook and 2 dc in each ch all the way.

Round 2: Make 3ch, 1 dc in the next dc and 2 dc in each dc all the way.
Round 3: Make 3 ch and sl st in each dc in Round 2.

Term:
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
sl st = slip stitch

Crochet Flower Accessories

Flower Hair Clip

This hair clip is a combination of two flowers and leaves, the flowers are pelargonium and daisy. It is pretty easy to make this flower especially if we're accustomed to the pattern and stitches. Once the flowers and leaves just put it in your hair clip using glue gun and Voila!! A regular ol' hair clip turns into a cuter hair clip!! \(^_^\) (/^_^)/

Flower Necklace

The flower and leaf can be combined into a pretty necklace. The pattern for these flowers are from Crochet Accessories book by Ratu Sri Hastutie but I've modified her pattern using US terms.

Pelargonium Pattern:

Round 1: Make 5ch lalu join with sl st.

Round 2: Make *5 ch in one of round 1 ch, 3dc, 5ch and sl st*. Repeat * until you make 5 petals. Fasten off.

Daisy Pattern:

Round 1: Make 6ch and sl st into ring.

Round 2: Make1 ch and 11sc from inside the ring and sl st.

Round 3: Make 11ch from ch in round 2, sl st in 1st sc. Make 11ch from 1st sc, and sl st at 2nd sc. Repeat the steps until you make 12 petals or until you reach the 1st ch and sl st. Fasten off.

Crochet: Centifolia Rose Accessories

Rose Necklace / Brooch Base

Flower accessories are always pretty for any occasion, I've made some roses and leaves and combine it and glued it into a feltef fabric. The results is pretty nice but I'm still deciding whether I'm gonna make this one into a brooch or a necklace.

Rose Hair Clip

The roses also look pretty on a hair clip, just made a bunch of roses in a different size or color and glue it into a hair clip.The pattern on this rose can be seen at Crochet Accessories book by Ratu Sri Hastutie. Below is my version of the pattern using US terms.

Material:

- crochet hook #4 (2.5mm)

- yarn

- glue

Rose Pattern:

Round 1: Make 30 ch and make 1 dc in the 3rd chain from hook and dc in the next ch and then make 2 ch and sl st in the 6th ch from hook.

Round 2: Make 3 ch and dc in the next 2 ch, make 2 ch and sl st in the next ch, make 4 ch and 1 tr in the next 4 ch, make 3 ch and sl st in the next ch, make 4 ch and 1 tr in the next 6ch, make 3 ch and sl st in the next ch, make 5 ch and 1 tr int the next 8 ch, make 4 ch and sl st in the last ch. Fasten off.

Roll the crochet to make the flower.

Leaf Pattern:

Make 13 ch and 1 sc in the 2nd ch from hook and the next 2 ch [3 sc], make 1 dc in the next 6 ch [6 dc], make 1 sc in the last 3 ch [3 sc], make 5 ch and sl st in the 2nd ch from hook and the next 3 ch [4 sl st], continue to the other side make 1 sc in the next 3 ch [3 sc], make 1 dc in the next 6 ch [6 dc], and make 1 sc in the last 3 ch [3 sc]. Fasten off.

You can also make the rose into this cute stud earrings. Just use a smaller crochet hook like #1-#2 (1-1.5 mm) and do a fewer rose petals.

tr = treble crochet
