Meconopsis Crochet Earring

Just wanted a quick share on this beautiful Meconopsis Flower Crochet Earring that I made. Super easy and quick to make and it only involves a chain, single crochet, double crochet and slip stitch. A great way to use those leftover yarn. I made it into a pair of earrings but it would definitely looks pretty as headband, hair tie, embellishment, ring or anything you can think of. If you want to make this flower the pattern is available on 100 Flowers to Knit and Crochet by Leslie Stanfield (it's on page 72).

Crochet Jasmine

Jasmine Earring

Good Evening....

I'm gonna share more flower pattern that I got from Crochet Accessories book by Ratu Sri Hastutie. This pattern is called Bunga Melati in Bahasa which means Jasmine Flower. In her book she made this flower into an earring, but you can actually modified it into necklace, bracelet, brooch or even an embellishment for napkins or clothes.

What I love about this flower is that it's super easy to make and doesn't take a lot of yarn. You can make this flower from any leftover yarn. If you're interested in this pattern you can buy her book at any book store but I'm gonna share my version of her pattern since she us UK pattern for her book while I prefer US pattern.

Crochet Flower and Leaves Necklace

Good afternoon people....!!

Here's another free crochet pattern for you. It's flower and leaves necklace, but you can make this into anything you want, you can put it in bags, shoes, clothes or make it into a brooch. I made this flower using steel crochet hook no. 5 (2.5mm) and local cotton yarn. It's fairly easy to make and don't took a lot of yarn.

The flower and leaves is actually a two part section, flower section and leaves section. After you done making both section just join both part by sewing or gluing. But since I'm lazy I prefer to just glue them together. I think these will also looks cute if I add more layer of flower and leaves in it.

This pattern is created by Michelle Ryan at her blog Nezumi World. If you want to make one you can go visit Nezumi World here. But if you're interested in buying this, you can visit my shop Pernak Pernik Sekar.

Crochet Rosette Bib Necklace

US style pattern jadi polanya kuubah menjadi US style

Bunga bagian atas ( 3 kelopak)
  1. Round 1: Buat 4ch lalu di ss jadi ring
  2. Round 2: Buat 1ch lalu 6sc dari dalam ring lalu ss.
  3. Round 3: Buat 1ch lalu 1sc, lalu buat 3ch dari setiap 2sc yang digabung dengan membuat 1sc.
  4. Round 4: Buat 1ch lalu 1sc, 5dc, 1sc dari dalam lingkaran ke 3 sebanyak 3 kali.
Bunga bagian bawah (5 kelopak)
  1. Round 1: Buat 1ch masukkan dalam sc1 pada bunga atas (Round 4)
  2. Round 2: Buat 3ch lalu masukkan pada sc selanjutnya (6sc pada Round 3 bunga atas diisi masing-masing 3ch sebanyak 5 kali).
  3. Round 3: Buat 1sc, 7dc, 1sc dari dalam 5 ring pada Round 2 pada bunga bawah.

Crochet Necklace Variation

I've been looking for a cute pattern to make a crochet accessories and I stumbled upon acommonthread blog. Her blog is really interesting, she has a great sense of fashion and she gives some of her pattern for free. My most favorite pattern from her blog is the crochet bib necklace, especially the one that she made and wear in her blog. I've been tinkering with her pattern and make some other inspiration from her pattern.

This is the crochet bib necklace looks like, it's actually from 3 row of crochet that is join into one big, bold, statement necklace.

If three are too big just make one and it's still looks cute. Kinda look like a lace.

You can also make a beautiful rose from the same pattern, just roll the finished pattern and sew or glue at the bottom part.

If you're interested in making this, just visit acommonthread.

And if you're interested in buying one just visit my shop Pernak Pernik Sekar if you like ^^

Crochet Flower Accessories

Flower Hair Clip

This hair clip is a combination of two flowers and leaves, the flowers are pelargonium and daisy. It is pretty easy to make this flower especially if we're accustomed to the pattern and stitches. Once the flowers and leaves just put it in your hair clip using glue gun and Voila!! A regular ol' hair clip turns into a cuter hair clip!! \(^_^\) (/^_^)/

Flower Necklace

The flower and leaf can be combined into a pretty necklace. The pattern for these flowers are from Crochet Accessories book by Ratu Sri Hastutie but I've modified her pattern using US terms.

Pelargonium Pattern:

Round 1: Make 5ch lalu join with sl st.
Round 2: Make *5 ch in one of round 1 ch, 3dc, 5ch and sl st*. Repeat * until you make 5 petals. Fasten off.

Daisy Pattern:

Round 1: Make 6ch and sl st into ring.
Round 2: Make1 ch and 11sc from inside the ring and sl st.
Round 3: Make 11ch from ch in round 2, sl st in 1st sc. Make 11ch from 1st sc, and sl st at 2nd sc. Repeat the steps until you make 12 petals or until you reach the 1st ch and sl st. Fasten off.

The leaf pattern is here.

Terms:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
