Review: Etude House Skin Malgem Smoother

Today's review is about my favorite Korean Brand toner that so far works the best on my skin. I usually prefer DIY Toner because it's more natural and contains no alcohol in it and the fact that it's cheaper wouldn't hurt too. Not that I have anything against it. For oily combination skin like mine some degree of alcohol is needed or sebum control but since my skin is also sensitive high level of alcohol in Toner will stings real bad and makes my skin dry.

If you're interested on making a DIY Toner here are some of them:

I've been making a DIY Herbal Infused Toner too and I'm gonna share the recipe soon. Anyway continue onto the original review. I usually don't prefer store bought toner because they rarely works on me although I do sometimes purchase once or twice just because I'm curious he he he... I bought this particular Toner because I got a trial kit and when I tried the Toner it works surprisingly well. What is it? It's the Etude House Skin Malgem Smoother Exfoliating Toner.

Description:
[mal:gem] the Korean word for cleannes, clarity and pureness. Skin Malgem hypoallergenic toners promote clean, clear and pure complexion with moisturizing and pore cleansing formula. The Etude House Skin Malgem Smoother is suitable For Trouble Prone Skin. It contains fruit acids in green grape, exfoliate keratin on a skin clearly for keeping smooth and soft skin. Orange ingredient reduces appearance of pores and cleans out impurities effectively, by removing dead skin cells. Lemon extract makes dull skin look brighter and clearer while sugar maple promotes softer skin with moisturizing properties.

Ingredients:
Water, Alcohol, Dipropylene Glycol, Glycerin, PEG-8, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit/Leaf Extract, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Citrus Grandis (Graperuit) Peel Extract, Panthenol Orchid Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract, Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Cellulose Gum, Ethylhexylglycerin, Xanthan Gum, Polysorbate 20, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance.

Packaging:
It comes in a plastic bottle which at first kinda look like a glass bottle. I think the flower emblem on the front is really cute and there's a product explanation on the back in Hangeul and English. The bottle cap is a screw type so there won't be any leaking issue there and there's also a small round opeining for the Toner to come out.

How I use It:
I mostly use it in the morning after I wash my face in order to getting rid off dead skin cell buildup from the night before. I also use it on a Tissue Mask sometimes.

The Toner:
Etude House Skin Malgem Smoother has a watery consistency and a heavenly fruity floral scent. Even though there's and alcohol in the ingredients list I think the concentration isn't very high because I didn't feel any stinging or uncomfortable tightness. Like the name exfoliation toner this toner helps getting rid off those dead skin cell buildup on my skin. Even after I wash my face I sometimes still see dirt on the cotton when I wipe my face with the toner.

What I Like:
- Great scent.
- Deep cleanse pore and skin.
- Big bottle (250 ml).
- No stinging on uncomfortable tight sensation.

What I Don't Like:
- None
