Finally... It's my last post of the day.... This is an eyeliner that I bought several months ago (forgot the exact time though) when I went to Matahari Galeria Mall. The price is $2.95 or IDR 29.500 which I think is really affordable.

Review: Etude House Styling Eyeliner in White
Continue to the second eyeliner post of the day, it's about Etude House Styling Eyeliner in White. I previously have white pencil eyeliner from The Face Shop but it was too soft and the tip keeps broken so I have to keep sharpening it and then it was gone before I know it. Overall it was a bit of a disappointment, but what about this one??
I bough it from Rie Butik for $2.9 (IDR 29.000) last September. It comes in a white plastic packaging with a black label and logo.
Review: Etude House Oh m'Eye Line (Oh My Black)
It's the end of the year and before I'm off to my New Year's Eve plan for tonight I'm gonna do a several post on eyeliner so beware of post spam after this.. #LOL This post has stood in my draft for several months now, and since I rarely used and also bad with liquid eyeliner this post has never been on the top of my priority. But today I finally brace myself....
I bought this eyeliner from Rie Butik last September for $4.2 (IDR 42.000) and choose the Oh My Black color. The eyeliner comes in a cute black packaging with pink label. The handle has perfect size for me, not too long or too short.
December Favorites and Empties
Hi!! It's already the end of the month and also the end of the year. Do you have any plans on new year eve? I'm still deciding on several plans though.. I want to go out but the thought of traffic jam kinda turns me off, but the fireworks seem nice too... Anyway I'm gonna share about my December favorites and empties. I never post about empties before but it seems interesting because now that I think about it sometimes I bought things and not using it until it empties or maybe it doesn't suit me so I gave it or let it sit in the back drawer until expires. So here goes my favorites stuff for December and stuff that I emptied out this December (Quite a lot of them emptied simultaneously this month too!!).
December Favorites
Mai Doll Mineral Pressed Foundation |
I got this one from sasa.com and it only comes in one color which is natural. When I first look at the color from the website I think the color match but when the product came the color is a bit darker that I originally think. I don't really like it at first, but now I really like it. The trick is use as little as possible with the puff or for a better result I prefer to use a powder brush or kabuki brush to pick up the product. It has a matte finish at first but after a while it became more of a dewy finish which I love.

Review: C+M Pore Control Cleansing Gel
Since I'm lovin' the C+M Anti-Blemish 3 in 1 Deep Purifying Cleansing Gel that I bought previously several months ago I think this one will also be a good one too. I got it from sasa.com for $2.3 (IDR 23.000) which I think quite affordable since it's quite big. This cleansing gel natural vegetal extracts and Bearberry extract and formulated to gently clean, whiten and pore refining in one single action. After use, the skin will maintain the pH equilibrium 5.5, without feeling of dryness while simultaneously regain a natural transparent white look. It is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive and particularly recommended for dull, yellowish and spots skin.
Aqua, Glycerine, Merquat 550, Coconut Diethanolamide, Arbutin, Witch Hazel, Citric Acid, Cocamidopropyl, Sodium Lauryl Ethel Sulphate, Purasal S/HQ 60, Kathon-CG, Bodium Benzoate.
The products comes in a flip top package and it's quite hard to open and close. I usually just slam it to the bathroom wall to close the cap. Even though I particularly don't like this type off cap since it broke quite easily this one is really sturdy. Maybe that's why it's so hard to open and close??

Review: Mitu Shikada Facial Cleansing Wipes
Hai hai...!!
Review: C+M Eye Make-Up Remover Lotion
Good day...
It's raining heavily again here in Jogjakarta, thus prevent me from washing my car again. But the truth is taking my car to the car-wash is really a bothersome for me to do. Anyway I'm back with another review, this time it's about eye make-up remover from C+M. I bought it for $2.3 (IDR 23.000) from sasa.com since my Loreal eye make-up remover runs out.
The lotion comes in a 65 ml bottle with a twist cap and it has a blue-green color. It has a slight fragrance but nothing unpleasant though. It is formulated with camomile extract and claims to gently eliminate all traces of make-up quickly and make the skin remain soft and moisturized. It is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive and formulated to minimize the risk of allergic reactions. It is also tested under dermatological control
Caution : For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes directly. Keep out of reach of children. Store in cool place. In case of irritation occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and stop to use.
How to Use:
Apply the lotion with cotton pad on the eyes, gently eliminate all traces of make-up.

December Haul
Good afternoon...
It's been a few days since my last post... I'm a bit lazy to post anything lately because my internet connection sucks big time. But finally I got a better one now. Sooo.... I'm gonna post about my December haul. It's basically a recap on things I bought throughout this December.
You know... Now that I'm making this post I just realized that I bough a lot of things this December... #sigh Girls just can't help themselves from buying stuff.... Anyway prepare for photo spam because there are A LOT of pictures!!
Stuff I Bought from Intenscorner
I bought a lot of stuff from her shop lately and since last November pre order was a bust and some have trouble with custom, I received my order this December. I got a nice bonus and a lot of sample from her too!!
Tony Moly Shiny Foot Peeling Liquid
I always wanted to try this stuff and finally decided to buy the one from Tony Moly. The original price is $8.8 (IDR 88.000) but I got 50% discount so it's only $4.4 (IDR 44.000).
Holika Holika Face 2 Change Star Pot (Golden Bronze)
This eye shadow color is interesting and since the color is pretty neutral I can carry it in my pouch. I got it for $3.5 (IDR 35.000), but the original price is $7 (IDR 70.000).

Review: Lip Ice Repair & Treatment Lip Gel
Hello...
Today I'm gonna do a review on Lip Ice Repair & Treatment Lip Gel. I got this product since several months ago but haven't had the chance to try it since I kinda misplace it he he he... But earlier this month I accidentally found this lip gel when I'm tidying up my drawer. I think I bought this lip gel for $1.85 (IDR 18.500), it's been a long time so I don't remember the exact price.
I haven't use any Lip Ice product for many years now, the last time I remember using it was in high school I guess... Anyway the reason I bought this lip gel was to repair my chapped lips and I kinda feels nostalgic when I see the Lip Ice product so I bought it. I choose the lip gel kind because I never use this type of lip balm before so I'm kinda curious.

Review: Too Cool For School Angel Hand Cream Shea Butter
Hello...!!
It's a bit cold here in Jogja because it's been raining since morning and I feel like I want to just curled up in my blanket all day.. >.<
This time I'm gonna post about a review on Too Cool For School Angel Hand Cream Shea Butter. I got this hand cream for free from Cosmopolitan Anniversary Edition in last September along with Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel.
The hand cream comes in an aluminium (I think??) tube with a twist cap. I prefer this kind off cap than flip top cap. Because this way the product is more travel friendly. The tube and box are in silver color and has some explanation in Korean at the back.

Tutorial: DIY Castor Oil and Turmeric Mask to Lighten Skin and Pigmentation
I haven't post anything in a while since my internet connection is still sucks. Even though I still have a lot of pending post... #uugghhh #sob So... Today's post is about another DIY mask that I've been using for a while although not often because I'm a bit lazy on doing DIY mask lately aside from Chizu Saeki Method which is easier.
Anyway why turmeric and castor oil? Turmeric has been use since many years ago in India for Indian brides to prepare before marriage. It has been found to cut the skin’s melanin production. It also helps suntanned skin return to its normal shade faster and regular use of Castor oil on the scars and pigmentation helps to fade marks, pimple spots and pigmentation. Castor oil mixed with Turmeric gives long lasting results.
Here are the ingredients:
- turmeric powder
- castor oil
I bought turmeric powder at local grocery store (forgot how much it is though) and castor oil online (also forgot the name). If I have some acne I add cinnamon powder to the mask mix and also honey if I have any. Here's how I made the mask.

Castor Oil 101
Image taken from hbmag.com |
What is Castor Oil?
Castor oil is a vegetable oil obtained from the castor bean
(technically castor seed as the castor plant, Ricinus communis (Euphorbiaceae),
is not a member of the bean family). Castor oil is a colorless to very pale
yellow liquid with mild or no odor or taste. Its boiling point is 313 °C (595
°F) and its density is 961 kg/m3. It is a triglyceride in which approximately
90 percent of fatty acid chains are ricinoleic acid. Oleic and linoleic acids
are the other significant components.
Castor oil, extracted from castor beans, is widely used across the
world. The castor plant, which initially originated in the warm regions of
India, can be found in most of the Mediterranean and tropical zones. Though raw
castor beans are not fit for human consumption, even causing illness at times,
castor oil has been infused with a large number of health benefits, apart from
uses as a beauty product. For instance, it is anti-inflammatory and
anti-oxidant oil which has been used for centuries for its therapeutic and
medicinal benefits. Then, the oil can also be used for treating various skin
ailments. Although it has a strong and rather unpleasant taste, castor oil is
used in cosmetics, soaps, textiles, medicines, massage oils and many other
everyday products. Want to know more about the benefits of castor oil? Read on.
What are the Benefits of Castor Oil?
I’m gonna focus more on the benefits of castor oil for beauty but I’m
gonna share a quick peek on some of its benefits for health. Castor Oil has
been used both internally and externally for thousands of years due to its many
wonderful health benefits. Since it can strengthen the immune system, castor
oil is considered a great remedy to treat the following major illnesses and
ailments:
Multiple Sclerosis
Parkinson's Disease
Cerebral Palsy
Pain from Arthritis and Rheumatism
Yeast Infections
Constipation
Gastrointestinal Problems
Menstrual Disorders
Migraines
Athlete's Foot
Ringworm
Skin Abrasions
Inflammation
Castor Oil is also commonly used to induce labour, so pregnant women
should always consult a doctor before using it.

Review: Melanox ES Whitening Cream
Hai..!!
Berikut sedikit penjelasan mengenai Melanox ES:
Komposisi:
Purified water, Glycerin, Lactic acid 3%, Cyclomethicone, Cetyl alcohol, kojic acid, Rumex occidentalis extract, Triethanolamine, Stearic acid, Tocopheryl acetate, Propylene glycol. Xanthan gum, Disodium EDTA, Citric acid, Diazolidinyl urea, BHT, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

Comet Wrist Cuff Pattern
Hi there fellow yarn lover!!
Today I'm gonna share a pattern on this Wrist Cuff pattern. I got this pattern from Betsey at her blog Post Card From Waterloo. The idea of this cuff came from a comet, well if you see the picture on my post it doesn't really looks like it but when you visit her blog you'll notice the shape. I got the basic pattern from her blog and then I alternate it using available material so the end result is kinda different from the original.
Material I Use:
- Local cotton yarn
- Key chain ring
- Steel crochet hook #5 (3 mm)
I made this fairly quick, it takes about an hour or so while watching TV. My cuff is smaller than the original because I use thinner yarn and smaller hook size (the original use 3.75 mm hook). I don't have 1.5 inch O-ring or washer so I use the only one with similar shape which is key chain ring. For the buttons, I replace them with a crochet button in another color. I choose the one with the glitter to make it more sparkly ^^.
If you want to make one go check out here.
Visit my online shop Pernak Pernik Sekar if you like ^^
Liebster Award
Happy Sunday folks..!!
I'm actually a lil bit lazy on making this post but since several people have nominated me already I decided to post it anyway (sorry... >.<) Okay... thanks for Maya, Beatrix, Piedev, Arisa, Laura, Glamburger, Rizki, Vani and Crystal for nominating me. Let's see... The rules are similar with the previous award that I have before but this one has one different rules in which I have to post a question for others to answer.
Rules:
- When you receive the award, thank the person who gave it to you and post the link to his or her blog in your blog post.
- Then, post eleven things about yourself.
- Answer the eleven questions from the person who tagged you.
- Choose eleven inspiring bloggers whose blog has less than 200 followers, and link their pages in your post.
- Create eleven questions for them to answer.

11 things about myself... Hmmm... I should write the one that is different from the previous one.
- I don't like sweet stuff except if it's chocolate

November Favorites and Regret
Hello...
It's already December so I'm gonna post about my November Favorites and Regret.
Favorites
Melanox Premium Advanced Formula Whitening Serum
I bought this because of Guardian Weekly Promo, at first I'm not really interested in this serum but because it's in a discounted price I decided to try this serum. My friend said that this serum really works in increasing her skin tone but I wanted to use this serum to reduce my blemish marks. Usually it took a few months just to reduce the blemish marks and more months to make the blemish marks disappear, so far I've been using this serum for almost a month and the blemish marks has reduce pretty good.

Review: Cyleina Organic Kojic Soap
Good Day.... Had your lunch yet?
Today I'm back with a review on a Kojic Soap that I bought last October and have been using it for about 5 weeks or so. I bought this soap for $7 (IDR 70.000) at Baterflai Tat Shop at Facebook and the reason I bought it not because I want to whiten my skin but because I think this will reduce black pigmentation on my knees and elbows and reduce scar pigmentation on my calf.

Review: NYX Round Lipstick in Paris and Vitamin Shade
Good morning....
The weather is kinda nice right now in Jogjakarta but lately it always gets worst around afternoon. It rains heavily and followed with lightnings and thunders which scares the hell out of me.
So... Today I'm gonna do a review on two lipstick that I purchased a few months ago. I seldom do a review on a lipstick because aside from these two lipsticks that I bought recently, I only has one lipstick from Caring Color and it was a freebie too.... #LOL I prefer to put on lipgloss (only one too... >.<), lip balm, or lip tint on my daily make up.
I bought the lipstick online for $3.3 (IDR 33.000) but I've seen their new counter at Ambarrukmo Plaza lately so that means NYX is already available in Indonesia. I haven't check the price at the counter though but I reckon it will be more expensive. There are two shades that I bought: Paris and Vitamin.

Several Ways of Doing Chizu Saeki Lotion Mask
Hello again...
What you need:
- Facial cotton
- Small container to mix the mask concoction
- Emulsion / Essence / Serum
- Water.
Yesterday was my birthday and to celebrate it I took my friends for lunch and we ended up spending 6 hours at the restaurant. Luckily we don't get kick out #LOL.... When you're having fun time really do fly by.. And now I'm waiting for Tintas and Puput to come to my place but unfortunately it's raining since noon and since both of them use motorcycle I kinda doubt that they will continue their plan... Gee... I hope the rain subdue already.
Well... from the post title you'll know that I'm posting about Chizu Saeki Lotion Mask and I'm sure some of you have heard it already. The popular name is Chizu Saeki Method (CSM) or just Lotion Mask. I'm just gonna post a quick introduction on Chizu Saeki and how the lotion mask is usually done, because my main focus on doing this post is on several ways and materials that you can do to make this lotion mask.
Chizu Saeki, a renowned skincare guru in Japan who has worked as a beauty consultant in the beauty industry for 40 years and her most famous method of keeping her skin healthy and youthful is this lotion mask. Lotion? As a mask? Well what it means as a lotion in this mask is NOT a kind of lotion that we normally know. The "lotion" means more of a toner or a watery serum, I think the Japanese refer to toner as a lotion??. Although I also need to remind that the kind of toner/lotion that is best for this method is something with little or no alcohol in it, and of course, all natural and without artificial preservatives or synthetic fragrances.
The more popular method that I know for people doing this method is by doing it with facial cotton and Hada Labo Lotion, but since I don't want to buy another product I just use my favorite emulsion and mix it with water to make a watery emulsion and soak it in whatever mask I use.
My 1st Method
Here's my basic version on making this mask:
- Facial cotton
- Small container to mix the mask concoction
- Emulsion / Essence / Serum
- Water.
Combine water and emulsion. Why? As I said before I don't want to buy another product and just want to use the one I have right now. It's perfectly okay if you wanted to buy the lotion though. I use distilled water and The Skinfood Deep Sea Water Multi Gel, but sometimes I change the combination with other emulsion, serum, and essence that I have, but remember to choose the kinds that blends well with water.
Mix the water and emulsion. I choose to mix them before and not soak the cotton in water first and added the emulsion later like the original version. The reason is because simply I'll use more emulsion and it's a waste of product. It's the same principle anyway (IMHO).
Dip the facial cotton in the container and then peel it. After that you stretch the peeled cotton and put it on your face. 3 cotton is enough for my whole face and I peel each of them in 3 layer. I forgot to take a picture but you'll get the gist of it in this video.
