Simple Crochet Earring

Good day fellow crocheter....

Sorry for haven't been able to post any crochet related post lately. For some reason I don't really have the mood to do it. Today I'm gonna share you a pattern on this simple crochet earrings. These earrings are very easy to make and look really cute too! I make these in less than an hour and used local cotton yarn and steel crochet hook #4 (2.5mm). The pattern is inspired by earring from Yellow Pink and Sparkly blog but I modified it since I'm kinda confused with the pattern (I'm confused on how to attach the center on her earring pattern) and also modified the pattern using US terms. The original pattern is supposed to a daisy flower, but since I'm confused I didn't made the center part and only made the base part. The finished earrings kinda look like a ship's steering wheel (What's it callled anyway??). Here's the pattern:

Material:
Local cotton yarn (any color)
Steel Crochet Hook #4 (2.5 mm).
Earring hooks.

Pattern (US terms)

Make 6ch, sl st to join into a ring.

1st round: 7ch (counts as 1 dc and 4 ch), [1 dc into ring, 4 ch] 7x, sl st into 3rd of 7 ch. (8 spaces)

2nd round: [1 sc, 1 hdc 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc] into each space. Sl st into 1st sc. Fasten off.

Attach earring hooks to one of the top of the dc.
