Review: Shiseido Tsubaki Damage Care Shampoo and Conditioner

Hello....
I'm in a posting mood today so I'm gonna make a few more post. On this post I'm gonna post about Shiseido Tsubaki Damage Care (or also known as Golden Repair) Shampoo and Conditioner. I used to use the red one which is Shiseido Tsubaki Shining with Tsubaki EX and super duper loving it!! (forgot to make a review though). Anyway, it is said that the Damage Care Series is an improvement from their Shining Hair series so I thought the result will be better than the red ones. I forgot the exact price for it both for the shampoo and conditioner set I think it's around $20 - $30 (IDR 200.000 - IDR 300.000) depends on the online shop because it's not available in Indonesian store especially in Jogjakarta where I live.

Here are the products features:
  • Made especially for dry, permed, sun-damaged, color-treated and coarse hair, Shiseido's new Golden - Repair line is an everyday solution for healing and maintaining healthy hair.
  • The hair enriching nutrients in camellia oil in a luscious thick conditioner that heals brittle hair, split ends and dryness.
  • Amino acids help strengthen hair from the follicle.
  • The Tsubaki, or Camellia flower, is packed with oleic acids that are extremely compatible with human skin.
  • Excellent for everyday use, and improvements visible in as little as one use.

My Review:
Because I love the red ones I think this one will be good for me so without any hesitations I bought the big ones directly. Like the red ones the shampoo comes in a pump bottle so you can dispense the products directly which I love. I hate opening and closing a flip top cap. The shampoo fragrance is also heavenly!! I just love love the smell, it's a nice flowery scent, not too strong just the right amount of fragrance.

The texture is like any other shampoo I guess with a white color same as the packaging. It produces a normal amount of foam, not too many so I guess less use of detergent too. The conditioner texture is a bit thicker than the shampoo, has a white color, and also has a heavenly smell like the shampoo. I can't live without conditioner because just using shampoo is not enough for my hair.

I can feel the result after the first use but unfortunately not like the red ones though. I can feel my hair smoother but not as smooth like when I'm using the red ones but since I already bought it I keep using it anyway.

One of my favorite things from the Shiseido Tsubaki Shampoo and Conditioner is I notice that my hair doesn't fall easily anymore. That means my hair is getting stronger!! YAY!! The Damage Care series is also not an exception, when I'm using it my hair still doesn't fall easily but after a few months of using both the shampoo and conditioner I notice that my hair is getting thicker. Some people might like it but not me, because it's getting thicker I tend to have a lion mane hair which I hate!! It's getting harder to maintain too because your hair just won't obey you.

My Likes:
- Immediate results after first use
- Heavenly smell
- Stronger hair

My Dislikes:
- Thicker hair so it's hard to manage, but people with thin hair might love these though.
- Do not smooth your hair as good as the red (Shining Hair) ones
- Have to buy it online

Repurchase?
No.... I'd rather use the red ones, but now I'm trying Kanebo Kracie Shampoo and Conditioner though.
