My Current Skin Care Regime

Hello....

This is my last post for this month... I can't believe tomorrow is October already...

Anyway since I post about my skin and acne problem and how I deal with it in "My Journey With Acne" a lot people comment on what product I use, what's my facial foam, etc etc....

I mean... I've already posted what product I used on this blog.. but I'm gonna post about my current skin care regime just in case some of you wanna know and I'm also gonna post about what I've used before.... (what am I rambling about?!?!?)

BTW if you're interested I'm also gonna post about my skin care routine. Just leave a comment below or leave a message on the chat box. I prefer comment though since I've got notification if you leave a comment... he he he

Facial Wash

- Biore 2 in 1 Cleansing Wash
- C + M Pore Control Cleansing Gel

I bought Biore 2 in 1 Cleansing Wash on a whim and quite liking the result although I still prefer C + M Pore Control Cleansing Gel (review here) because it's more gentle to my skin and contains witch hazel for my acne prone skin. Before I used C + M Pore Control Cleansing Gel I use their other facial wash which is C + M Anti Blemish 3 in 1 Deep Purifying Cleansing Gel. I switch to this product because I want to compare both of them.

Cleansing Oil

- Extra Virgin Olive Oil (blog post here, here and here)
- Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil (review here)

I use EVOO and Kose as cleansing oil and both of them are great in removing make-up, but EVOO is better at removing stubborn waterproof mascara than Kose. EVOO is cheaper than Kose too!! He he he... I switch between EVOO and Kose depends on my mood or time. When I want an extra time to pamper my skin I use EVOO but when I'm lazy I prefer Kose since it's faster and I can just wash my face with water afterwards. With EVOO I kinda feel the need to massage my skin and used facial cotton to wipe the oil. I can't just wash it off with water.

Cleansing Milk

- MD Cleanser

This is my favorite cleansing milk so far, before this I use La Tulipe Cleansing Milk but sometimes it stings because I use Tretinoin so my skin is a bit more sensitive than usual. MD Cleanser is far more gentle to my skin and it doesn't leave that sticky feeling to your skin after you wipe it off with facial cotton, my face feels smooth and moist after I wipe it off.

Peeling Gel

- Innisfree Wine Peeling Jelly Softener (review here)

This one is my favorite so far just because it has a nice sweet wine smell and cute packaging he he he.. Before this I use Baviphat Peach Peeling Gel but I forgot to make a review about until it runs out, but I still prefer Innisfree than Baviphat Peelling Gel because Baviphat Peeling Gel has a thicker structure and you have to scoop it out from the jar like their other fruity series and I think it's also discontinued, I've also tried The Face Shop Dewy Flower Clear Peeling Gel.

Make-Up Remover

- Loreal Lip and Eye Make-Up Remover (review here)
- C+M Eye Make-Up Remover Lotion

I bought C+M Eye Make-Up Remover Lotion along with the Cleansing Gel but I still prefer Loreal because I can use it for both my eyes and lips. Both of them are gentle and do not irritate my skin.

Toner

- Homemade Toner from Appe Cider Vinegar (recipe here and here)

I made my own facial toner from Apple Cider Vinegar, Rose Water and Green Tea. I've been using this for almost a year now and still loving it. It's cheap and versatile and great for my backne (back acne) too!! Apple Cider Vinegar is available at any grocery store and have many uses.. (check here)

Essence / Serum

- The Skin Food Tomato Whitening Serum
- The Skinfood Tea Tree Essence (review here)
- Bion-C Vitamin C Serum

When my skin condition is bad I use The Skin Food Tea Tree Essence to prevents more acne from coming. The one that I have now is my last stock and I switch to The Skin Food Tomato Whitening Serum to lighten my blemish marks but haven't use it yet because I got some Vitamin C serum for free when I come home for Ramadhan Holiday (blog post here).

Moisturizer

- The Skin Food Tomato Whitening Emulsion
- The Skin Food Deep Sea Water Multi Gel

I use The Skin Food Tomato Whitening Emulsion and The Skin Food Deep Sea Water Multi Gel as a moisturizer. Right now I'm using The Skin Food Deep Sea Water Multi Gel first to see how it goes on my skin and switch to The Skin Food Tomato Whitening Emulsion once in a while. I've been using the Deep Sea Water one for two weeks now and quite liking the results although it doesn't lighten my blemish marks but my face do not looks dull and feels more "awake". Before using these two I use The Skin Food Tea Tree Emulsion (review here).

Facial Mist / Spray

- Evian Facial Spray
- Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray
- C+M Rose Water

I like using facial mist to add moisture boost to my skin especially in a hot weather or after bath, to cool my skin in hot day. to set my make-up and lately I like to use it to dampen my skin before I use night cream.

UV Protection

- Melanox UV Protector
- Sheridan Sunscreen

I have several tubes of Sheridan Suncscreen that my dad gets as a sample and I took it from him and I also got several mini tubes of Melanox UV Protector samples from my dad. Right now I switched back and forth between these too, Sheridan absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any sticky feeling to my skin but Melanox has higher SPF.

Night Cream

- Vitacid Cream (review here and here)

I use Vitacid Cream as a night cream and use it on damp face and not dry face because by dampen my face I can spread the cream as thinly as possible.

Sleeping Pack

- Baviphat Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack
- TCM Cubilose Pearl Sleeping Mask

I loooveee sleeping mask, it hydrates my skin while sleeping and I wake up with my skin feels smooth, moist and supple. I kinda switch between these two based on my mood, Baviphat has a nice apple juice smell while the TCM mask has an herbal smell.

Acne Treatment

- Sheridan Acne Gel

I use Sheridan Acne Gel for my acne treatment, I like this product because it can clears my acne without irritating the skin around it. I can't use any sulfur based products for my acne treatment because it irritates and dries my skin and do nothing for the acne itself. Before Sheridan Acne Gel I usually use Climadan Acne, Cindala or MediKlin.
